The Garnacha grape is one of the most emblematic and oldest grape varieties in Spain.
Originally from the Aragon region, it adapts exceptionally well to the hot, dry climate. Its cultivation has spread, becoming one of the most cultivated varieties throughout the country.
For a long time, the Grenache grape was mainly used in the production of bulk wines and fortified wines.
However, as the 20th century progressed, Spanish winemakers began to give more attention to this grape, making high-quality red wines with it.

Garnacha wines are usually intensely fruity. This grape provides notes of red and black fruits, such as cherries, raspberries, blackberries and plums, which are very noticeable in both the aroma and flavor of the wine.
